About NuGlue FAQ

Who we are, how client intellectual property is protected, and what our chemists have built.

Is NuGlue a chemical manufacturer or a broker?
A manufacturer. We formulate in our own laboratory and blend in our own facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. That distinction matters commercially: a broker can only change your price, while a manufacturer can change the chemistry — cure speed, hardness, VOC content, cost per gallon.
How do you protect confidential formulas and client IP?
Three ways. We sign reciprocal non-disclosure agreements before formulation discussions begin. Project documentation is siloed so no client's chemistry is visible alongside another's. And on completion, the formula is assigned to the client as their intellectual property rather than retained by us.
What experience does the NuGlue team have?
Our chemists bring over 40 years of combined experience in organic and polymer chemistry, developed alongside major raw material suppliers and national chemical manufacturers, and have formulated products that are currently in commercial distribution under other companies' brands.
